After setting them to something else and back to what they needed to be set it works. Somehow "stereo mix" requires playing with settings cause it didn't want to work at first. So I played with all those sound settings and forgot to set "stereo mix" as default and when I did - bug fixed. "WASAPI loopback" actually is "stereo mix" by Microsoft. Hm I don't think it's the same, I'm talking about the Windows software feature (WASAPI loopback). In properties of "Stereo Mix" check "Listen to this device" and set Playback to "Default playback device".īiohazard a écrit :Can you enable those and then switch to them in settings/general/audio input device in Wallpaper Engine? Or is that what you tried already? If you can't see disabled devices right click->Show disabled. Solution: Go to Control panel->Sound->Recording.

Even if i pause the audio enhancer plug-in the bug is gone until i close the plug-in then the bug is back. Only fix I found is playing an audio plug-in which takes over all audio from system and plays it through itself that way the bug is gone. And in volume mixer it is showing that the Wallpaper engine is making this sound though muting it doesn't stop only muting the speakers pauses it until I unmute it and the sound is still playing. I tried muting wallpaper engine, turned of video audio output but it doesn't stop the sound or the bug.

And yes the browser is not in full screen so the wallpaper is working. Closing browser while playing music like from youtube there is a chance there won't be a bug but sometimes there is. This bug is easily reproducible and I don't know what causes it. To avoid it I have to pause the music or a video whichever is playing at the moment and then close the program.

All audio visualizers or any addon that records audio has that problem. Whenever I close a program like Media player or winamp, whatever is playing sound that wallpaper engine records and makes it into wallpaper, the sound from them gets stuck, just a few last notes and loops endlessly making an annoying sound until I pause the wallpaper, switch it or make a new sound play.
